Golden Globes: Selena Gomez called a 'show off' for 'cringe' PDA pic with Benny Blanco
Selena Gomez may not have won the Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a television series, comedy or musical for her role in Only Murderers in The Building, however, she ‘won’ with new partner Benny Blanco as she posts an adorable PDA pic after the show. Although, some fans disagree.
The 33-year-old walked the Golden Globes Red Carpet without her new boyfriend Benny Blanco by her side, and he was nowhere to be seen inside the ceremony either, as she sat beside bestie, Taylor Swift. But, of course, he wasn’t going to miss his girlfriend’s big day, who claims she won anyway, with him by her side.

Taking to her 429 million Instagram followers, Gomez posted a pic of herself in the red dress from the Awards Show sitting on top of her boyfriend’s lap as they engaged in a kiss.
The Single Soon singer could be seen with a blazer over her red dress, unclear if it was her partner’s as he also looked dapper in a black blazer.
In the caption of the romantic pic, Gomez simply wrote: “I won”.
The photo is obviously now doing the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter, but some fans aren’t as fond of the PDA as others.
“So cringe sharing these type of images just to show off,” wrote one unimpressed fan.
“I swear this girl still thinks she’s in high school someone help her,” one said of the PDA-filled pic.
A third agreed the pic was a little too much, as they tweeted: “Why is she posting like a 14-year-old with her first boyfriend she is so cringe.”
However, it wasn’t all bad, as some fans were happy for the couple, as one penned: “She deserves all the happiness in the world.”
The pair first announced their relationship in December after ‘secretly’ dating for six months. Last week, they stepped out for their first public date night at an LA Lakers game.
The star ‘flaunts her curves’ in stunning red dress
It looks like the 31-year-old’s relationship wasn’t the only thing she was showing off on Sunday night, as she flaunted her curves in her red cut-out dress for the prestigious event.
The asymmetrical Giorgio Armani number featured cut-outs at the front with black roses, and a black waistband to show off the star’s figure.
Selena kept the red look going with her footwear, wearing a pair of red metallic Christian Louboutin heels. For jewelry, she opted for the silver look, complimenting the red and black outfit.
